Scheme refused!

(Posted: 26 June 07)

Members of the planning committee unanimously refused permission this evening. Read more – click above.

Committee date set for Tues June 26th (4.30pm onwards) with site-meeting Mon June 25th (1.20pm)

(Posted: 20 June 07)

The proposal is reccommended for refusal on grounds that the bowling green is not of sufficient quality. The committee meeting commences at 4.30pm with Connaught Court being 5th on agenda. The site meeting starts at 1.20 at the entrance to Connaught Court. Please come along if you are able.

Committee delayed yet again.

(Posted: 17 May 07)

It seems that the council is allowing the RMBI to revise their plans once again and there will be further re-consultation with residents before the application can be determined. Will it be June? Who knows? The problems of the bowling green have been obvious from the very beginning and it is outragous that the council did not advise the developers before now that the green is unfeasible in its present location.

Hannah Blackburn Development Control Officer 9 St Leonard’s Place York YO1 7ET Or e-mail: hannah.blackburn@york.gov.uk Remember to quote the ref no: 05/00022/OUTM” There is a continuing problem with the council’s website which will not allow objections to this application to be made online. CoYC are aware of this assured us some time ago that they will try to rectify the fault. Lucky we are so patient!

Consultation letters sent out. Read more:

(Posted: 14 April 07)

The deadline for objections is April 18th and it is advisable to write as soon as possible, but it is still worth objecting even if you miss this date because all representations will continue to be accepted right up to the Committee meeting – probably 31st May with site meeting on 30th.

Revised plans.

(Posted: 10 April 07)

All our previous objections to this development remain and the latest revisions do not begin to address the major problems. We are reliably informed that the earliest date for the Committee to decide on the scheme will be in May – possibly the 17th.

Amended plans.

(Posted: 16 March 07)

See a full list of amendments since last June. Some of these have not yet been advised to residents by CoYC.
