Public meeting.
Thank you to all those who attended our meeting last night and for contributing so wonderfully to our discussions – there are obviously many of you who feel very strongly that this development will be a disaster for Fulford!
It was also good to see that 3 residents of Connaught Court were able to attend and didn’t hold back their feelings in spite of the presence of Andrew White the RMBI’s property developer.
We will continue to fight against this development and knowing that we have the support of so many in the local area gives us great encouragement.
Thank you again.

The proposal is reccommended for refusal on grounds that the bowling green is not of sufficient quality.
The committee meeting commences at 4.30pm with Connaught Court being 5th on agenda. The site meeting starts at 1.20 at the entrance to Connaught Court. Please come along if you are able.

It seems that the council is allowing the RMBI to revise their plans once again and there will be further re-consultation with residents before the application can be determined. Will it be June? Who knows? The problems of the bowling green have been obvious from the very beginning and it is outragous that the council did not advise the developers before now that the green is unfeasible in its present location.
