The application will be heard by the Planning Committee at The Guildhall) on Tues June 27th at 4.30 pm and preceded by a site meeting the previous day – Mon June 26th from 1.30 pm at the St Oswalds Road entrance.

The proposal is reccommended for refusal on grounds that the bowling green is not of sufficient quality.
The committee meeting commences at 4.30pm with Connaught Court being 5th on agenda. The site meeting starts at 1.20 at the entrance to Connaught Court. Please come along if you are able.

It seems that the council is allowing the RMBI to revise their plans once again and there will be further re-consultation with residents before the application can be determined. Will it be June? Who knows? The problems of the bowling green have been obvious from the very beginning and it is outragous that the council did not advise the developers before now that the green is unfeasible in its present location.
